Hotel Revel Terms and Conditions
The following Terms and Conditions (herein so called) instituted by Hotel Revel (the “Hotel”) have been established based on industry standards, management and operational procedures, and our personal experience owning and operating Hotel Revel. These Terms and Conditions are considered a part of our reservation agreement with guests. As a hotel guest, by reading and signing the hotel registration agreement each guest agrees to abide by all of our Terms and Conditions which are presented here to help promote our guests’ safety and enjoyment and to ensure that each guest is aware of the understandings between Hotel Revel and the guest. Our Terms and Conditions may change from time to time, so please check back often.
FORMS OF PAYMENT
The Hotel only accepts reservations purchased through credit cards or debit cards and does not accept checks. A pre-authorization will be made on the credit card or debit card of purchase upon check-in by guest. Such pre-authorization is a temporary hold of a specific amount of the guest’s available credit limit balance placed on his or her credit card or debit card for the full amount of the intended stay, plus any applicable taxes. The pre-authorization is not a charge to the guest’s account, it is a hold on those funds. Once the guest’s actual charge is posted upon check-out it can take anywhere from 24 hours to 30 days for the original pre-authorization to be removed by the guest’s bank. It is the guest’s responsibility to be aware of how his or her bank handles all of the transactions, including pre-authorizations. The Hotel is unable to remove pre-authorizations directly to the Hotel.
GUARANTEED RESERVATION
All reservations made using credit cards and debit cards are guaranteed. Guests must be at least 18 years of age and must present a valid government-issued photo ID upon check-in to ensure a guaranteed reservation. The Hotel does not charge the guest’s credit card or debit card at the time he or she makes the reservation.
CANCELLATION
The Hotel is not responsible for weather conditions, personal emergencies or schedule changes. Reservations must be cancelled at least forty-eight (48) hours prior to the arrival date in order to avoid a one (1) night full room cancellation fee. If reservations are cancelled less than forty-eight (48) hours prior to the arrival date, the guest’s credit card or debit card may be charged the full room charge plus taxes at the sole direction of the Hotel. If the guest is staying more than one (1) night, only the first night and any applicable taxes will be charged. If the guest cancels any reservation, the guest must obtain and save the cancellation number for his or her records.
NO SHOW CHARGES
Failure to check-in on the scheduled arrival date listed on the reservation will result in a no-show fee being charged to the guest’s credit card or debit card. The guest will only be charged one (1) night’s full room rate plus any applicable taxes and the balance of the reservation will be cancelled.
CHECK IN & CHECK OUT
All guests must be at least 18 years of age to check-in at the Hotel. In the interests of security and to prevent fraud, guests are required to confirm their identity by providing their valid, unexpired government-issued photo identification (State driver’s license, passport, etc.) at check-in. A valid, signed and pre-approved credit card in the name of the guest registration is also required at check-in. As stated earlier, it is the guest’s responsibility to fully understand the manner in which his or her bank processes pre-authorizations and charges to the credit card or debit card. Some banks hold pending authorizations for up to thirty (30) business days.
The reserved rooms shall be available to guests from 3PM central standard time onwards on the agreed day of arrival. If guest has not checked in by 6PM central standard time the Hotel has the right to assign the reserved room to a different guest.
Check-out time is at 11:00AM central standard time. Upon check-out, please consult with the front desk on the main level of the Hotel so that housekeeping may promptly begin cleaning the room. If the guest requires a later check-out, he or she shall contact the front desk prior to the day of departure and the Hotel will do its best to accommodate such request. A charge may apply for late check-out at the sole discretion of the Hotel.
ROOM KEYS
Room keys are issued to all registered guests but will not be issued to guests under the age of 18 years at any time. To replace a lost room key, guests must present a valid, unexpired government-issued ID to the front desk. Upon check-out, guest shall return all room keys to the front desk.
HOUSEKEEPING
Housekeeping is provided daily between the hours of 9AM to 2PM central standard time. Rooms are cleaned and inspected daily and a detailed log is maintained on each room and linen. Rooms are rented to guests in an appropriate condition without any prohibited odor. Housekeeping and front desk staff are trained and skilled in identifying the odors from prohibited items. If the Hotel’s investigation concludes that smoking of any prohibited or illegal item has occurred in the reserved room, the guest will be fined and evicted from the Hotel premises without any refund.
The comfort of all guests is very important to the Hotel. For guests staying multiple nights, bed linens are changed on a rotation schedule. Used towels are exchanged for fresh towels daily. If housekeeping is unable to change a bed due to personal items left on a bed, a note will be left with the guest in the room. Housekeeping will be happy to change any bed linens and make beds each day if all personal items are removed. Fresh towels and linens are always available at the front desk as often as needed. The guest shall contact the front desk for any additional questions or concerns.
PROHIBITED ITEMS
The safety of the Hotel’s guests, staff and Hotel premises are extremely important to Hotel management. Except for the microwave and refrigerator units that the Hotel provides, preparation of food in guest rooms by any type of cooking appliances is prohibited. A minimum fee of $300.00 will be charged for cooking a room, including, but not limited to coffee makers, hot plates, toaster ovens, water heaters, rice cookers, combustible, open flame barbecue grills, burners, heating appliances, or any other item prohibited by the fire marshal in Tarrant County. Open fires, flames or cooking grills, either charcoal or gas, and fireworks are not allowed anywhere on the Hotel premises.
SMOKE FREE
The Hotel is a smoke-free property. For safety and to assure that the Hotel is not exposed to items or actions that create an odor which is unhealthy and objectionable to all guests and staff, and that is difficult to remove from the air, carpet, walls and furniture, the Hotel does not permit smoking tobacco, marijuana, illegal drugs, e-cigarettes, vape pens, vaping, cartridges containing liquid nicotine, hookahs, incense, cooking, cigars, candle burning, the use of diffusing of patchouli oil or other strong-smelling plant-based essential oils or synthetic products in the Hotel.
QUIET HOURS
Every day from 10PM to 9AM central standard time, the Hotel and its guests will observe quiet hours for the courtesy of all guests. If any guest becomes aware of a disruptive guest, he or she shall promptly contact the front desk staff immediately by room phone or in person. Televisions, laptops, tablets, or other devices must be kept at a respectful low level at all times. Doors should be opened and closed quietly. Guests will refrain from hosting large congregations in rooms or hallways within the Hotel.
PARKING
All vehicles of guests must be listed on the registration upon check-in. Such vehicles are parked at the risk of the owner and the Hotel does not assume liability or responsibility for any vehicle, occupants or contents while operated or parked on the Hotel premises. If a vehicle is left in the Hotel’s parking lot after the guest has departed without the written consent of the Hotel, the Hotel reserves the right to have the vehicle towed at the owner’s expense.
DAMAGE AND/OR THEFT OF HOTEL PROPERTY
Guests are liable for any damage howsoever caused (whether by a deliberate, negligent or reckless act) to the rooms, Hotel’s premises or any other property belonging to the Hotel caused by the guest or any person in the guest’s party whether or not staying at the hotel during the guest’s stay. The Hotel reserves the right to retain the guest’s credit card or debit card details as presented at registration and charge such card any amount as it shall in its sole discretion deem necessary to compensate or make good the cost of expenses incurred or suffered by the Hotel as a result of the aforesaid. Should this damage come to light after the guest has departed, the Hotel reserves the right and the guest hereby authorizes the Hotel to charge such guest’s credit card or debit card for any damage incurred to the reserved room or the Hotel premises during the reservation, including and without limitation for all property damage, missing or damaged items, smoking fee, cleaning fee, guest compensation or any other fees due and payable by guest. The Hotel will make every effort to rectify any damage internally prior to contracting specialists to make the repairs and therefore will make every effort to keep any costs or expenses that the guest would incur to a minimum.
THEFT AND LOST PROPERTY
In the event that a guest is provided with a parking space on the Hotel’s premises, this shall not constitute a contract of safekeeping, even if a parking fee is paid. The Hotel has no duty to keep watch of the vehicle or the personal property therein. In the event that a car is stolen or damaged while parked or in operation on the Hotel’s premises, the Hotel will not be liable.
The Hotel assumes no liability for loss, misplaced, stolen, or damaged valuables or belongings of guests. If the guest discovers that he or she has left behind any valuables or belongings, he or she shall promptly call the Hotel. However, an item, with the exception of perishable items, left behind by guests and found after departure by housekeeping will be collected, logged in, and kept in a secure location for collection by the owner for up to five (5) calendar days. Reasonable effort will be made to notify the guest that a lost item has been found but if the Hotel is unable to contact the guest during the five (5) day period, the unclaimed items will be discarded. Perishable items, clothing and miscellaneous toiletries will be immediately discarded by Hotel staff.
